Further explain $READS$ |
Does $READS$ count for similar ip addresses? Or does it only counts for unique views or ip addresses?
Does $READS$ be manipulated to incredibly increase the number of views without actually be viewed by many unique ip addresses? Please explain further what $READS$ count for. Post edited by khen - Thursday, 2012-06-07, 4:56 PM

I'm pretty sure it counts views by unique IP's.

Can it be manipulated through proxy servers? Does its number of views increases when refreshing the page using proxy server?

Quote (khen) Can it be manipulated through proxy servers? Does its number of views increases when refreshing the page using proxy server? Yes, the view will increase if you use proxy servers. It will be detected as a new visit if you use a new browser or use incognito/private browsing mode to clear the cookies. Quote (CoffeeCone) Yes, the view will increase if you use proxy servers. Actually no. Views are counted not by IP addresses but by cookies.
