Site User Removal Help!

A user on my site wants me to take him off my "Site Users" list. He says he closed his uNet ID, which he used to join my website, but no matter how much I try, I can't permanently remove him off the "Site users" list! I searched everywhere on the forum with no success. Please help me!

Control Panel -> Users (on left navigation) -> [ List of users ]
You can remove users from the site there.
