Did you check the file size of the photo. Try shrinking the image and checking out http://iaza.com to help you with making it even smaller.

You're right. Each photo is 1mb and more surprised

Default field for Photo Name is filled with "Photo 1", and most of users think that this is it, what they aren't allowed to change. Can I clear it? Or is uCoz administration thinking about it or not yet?

By standard means - no. I can suggest the following: edit "Page for adding new photos" (in "Customize design") and add the announcement about photo names before $BODY$.

Restore default template in Photo module.

Url to add photo is http://yoursitename.com/photo/0-0-0-1.
