Wish I hadn't got carried away this weekend, now I'm having to do some work for a client on a Sunday night, with work in the morning dry I'll learn one day.

I need to stop doing things last minute.

Kind regards,
Elliott.

CodeResolution, I do exactly the same thing myself. I'm putting it down to a commonly found trait in creative/developmental people. A lot of people who I know that are web developers - and have deadlines - do a lot of last minute things. Not sure but it's just something I've noted.

What exactly are you doing btw? Web development/corporate image/other? smile

Paradox, it's in Web Design blood to do tasks at last minutes wink Not a good habit though.

An Internet Telecom Communications/Sensory Development/CCTV/Touch Screen Visitor Management/ETC ETC company are wanting a complete re-brand of their current corporate image. I am offering them a website re-design & development, web hosting, print design (large demonstration room), re-design of current corporate logo as well image (including company clothing, vehicles, banners etc) and possibly an exhibit stand. As well as a few mini-sites to come after that. Hopefully it'll be a good task, but quite a large one.

By the way, would you mind changing my user title to 'Web Designer' please? I keep forgetting I wanted to become a Helper rather than a Mod. wink

Kind regards,
Elliott.

Yes I noticed that too, I changed mine and since I've noticed most other common users have done the same (including round corners tongue ). You and Paradox should change yours too. Maybe even Pancake, but I'm not sure if he is willing to leave his beloved Pancakes behind. Seems like we're starting a new trend cool

CodeResolution, no, not a good habit. Kills me every time with whatever I'm doing.

Wow, definitely a larger form of project then. Sounds like you'll be busy for a while still from what I know of project-task time-frames and development lengths.
No problem at all. smile

Paradox, I'm always busy. I work full-time as a Web & Print Designer for a College, and in my spare time run a creative business with a friend/business partner. But I've got a life as well so I'm out with friends a lot, usually parties or just out in general smile Sometimes too busy, unfortunately. But hopefully it'll settle down soon. My main worry is lack of sleep, believe it or not.

I'm looking forward to showing you guys my company website soon, just developing it.

Kind regards,
Elliott.

CodeResolution, time management sounds like something you've got mostly down to perfect juggling two jobs and life. wink I find it hard enough finding time for study, life, and then well job is something again. biggrin Yeah, sleep does begin to grow on you. I know the feeling.

I'm guessing CodeRes is the new CC then from that? smile Can't wait, you always have an attention to detail on your sites. smile

Paradox, thank you I appreciate it wink

I decided to stop using the name Creative Collusions because as daft it sounds, the meaning of the word 'Collusions' changed and is now no longer appropriate for a company name. After lots of thinking, I finally came to the name Code Resolution. The name represents the services my team and I offer, primarily focusing on 'Code' for web design/development, and 'Resolution' which represents a firm decision to do something with determination.

Our services include Web Design, Development, Web Hosting, Photography, Print Design, Branding, Illustration, Video Editing etc. The company is newly founded and owned by two us, with a team that help us complete larger-scale tasks. It's currently in the process of being set up and we are aiming towards a business enterprise fund that will help the business start up more effectively. I'm almost 17 now, and hope that I'll have the basics set up by the end of the year. smile

Elliott.

CodeResolution, the reasoning doesn't sound too daft if you Google the term. wink I can completely understand the decision now that I've seen what they're using it for now. It's well thought out, your new name, sounds like something you can imagine using from day to day too. smile

Ohh okay. Yeah, I can see how the fund would help. Well, from everything I've heard I wish you the best of luck getting set up by the end of the year, it sounds like you have a stable well-made business plan so hopefully everything should essentially work like clockwork. smile

Paradox, yes hopefully so smile I do actually prefer the name Code Resolution so I'm glad it was changed, plus the logo is better than two boring interlocking 'C's. I like to say 'Code Res' for short too, whereas before there wasn't anything that sounded decent except 'Creative C', which I didn't like.

CodeResolution, ohh okay. You're always your own worst critic there when it comes to looking at your own work. I found the CC logo not too boring, it was fresh. The CodeRes logo is very nice though. smile Yeah, shortening CreativeCollusions was difficult here from what I saw, how you ended up as just CC I believe. CodeRes is actually really good as it doesn't completely destroy too much of the company name but still makes it a little quicker to say.
