Hi all,
Excuse me if I am posting it in the wrong section, its because all the categories there made me go all confused. Here is the problem, I do not want the "Site Search" block to appear on the main page, is there a way to make it disappear at the mainpage?

NTP is right. You can also use the "Access" tab on the block and set where you want the block to appear.
To disable block on a specific page, you need to use conditional operators. "I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I have friends in both places"
