Robot.txt file included with website is being rejected by search engines.
#1 - I want to make my own robot.txt file, but don't know how to and I don't know where to put it to delete the old one, upload it and fix the code for the new one. ****I think i was reading something about that if you don't get enough hits, your site becomes temporarily banned or blocked, i forget the term... is that what's happening? how do i know if I'm blocked? How do I get unblocked? I just made the darn thing last week, so I wouldn't imagine you get blocked that quickly. Can one of you super web guys like ping my site or something and tell me what's going on. 8) I'm going batty. I also want to update my meta tags & descrips, but I have to read more on that too. Suggestions?? |
