I`ve had alot of spammers come to my site and go all out. i cant stop them all, but it would make my life a million times easier if there was a way to stop user from posting 2 or 3 posts per day, same with the comments. so is there a way to do this?

irshad, unfortunately there is no system feature for this purpose. It may be possible through the use of custom scripting relative to the use of JavaScript and conditional operators however.
