Ok so I'm getting ready to start an online store via a 3rd party site. They allow you to use your own sub-domain as the url of the store. Can I do this via the uCoz control panel or do I have to go to my domain registrar's site which is the one uCoz uses.

Here is their instructions:

Host your store on your own domain. Use a URL like store.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com instead of the default URL http://www.3rdpartysite/myclothingstore

You need to use the tools provided by your domain registrar to add a CNAME record. The CNAME record should point your chosen sub-domain to store.yourdomain.com

Each registrar has its own method of adding CNAME records. See Setting Up Domain Mapping for more information and detailed instructions.

Once you've added the proper CNAME record to your domain, enter your domain below and click the button to switch your store to this domain.


I tried doing this before and it didn't work, maybe I'm not doing it right.
