The_Word, you can't. You can only create a new account or buy any domain you like and attach it to your current uCoz account.

It is impossible. But if you have your own domain you can attach it to the site for free (e.g.: http://www.yourdomain.com/ ).

i suggest just making a url in my.dot.tk

I don't want to say anything bad about other providers, but from my side, I don't suggest it.
It has few bugs, which might cause problems. Co.nr which also provides shorter url, is a bit
clearer, but we can't exclude that there can or are bugs, which can also cause problems to you.

If you are about the short domains, than I suggest you to use http://co.nr Go there & everything is explained.

This is pretty old but can you buy a .com from uCoz or will you need to find another place and transfer it?

And also How much traffic can uCoz allow to one website? I'm making a website and when its launched it will be advertised and seen by heaps of people. So I'm worried that it won't be able to hold up to the traffic

Thanks cool

Wrong! fakeros, be more attentive next time! We DO NOT need a new thread if there is an old thread about one and the same matter. I am now trying to clean this forum and leave 1 thread per each matter.

As much as you need, so don't worry.
