Hey Ucoz.

I'm testing out a new Template from Joomla/Ucoz template. But my user bar is gone, and got that ad bar instead. But i want the user bar back. Does anyone knowhow i can get it back.

I did read a topic where sunny said that user bar would be gone if i changed on "Allowed methods of users authorization:" to Local user. But it's market on "uNet users (uID) [?]"

Any one?

UndisPuted3330, if you use a custom template, we won't provide support with it.

I do however think that there are scripts that gets the userbar back.

UndisPuted3330, could you please provide a site URL and what you last did before the user bar, in a name, has been replaced? Also, are all the accounts you're logging in with set with the full set of permissions and have any of them been created through the sites control panel?

Paradox, What i have done is that i have installed a new template, and i dont have have any ways to login/Registration on the site. I login to the control panel threw unet. This is just a Template that i think will be good for my site when its done. So this is just a test for me now. Anyway, here is the site link http://test1212.ucoz.com/

UndisPuted3330, Ah, you use the megapolis one. It has a customized user panel, so my guess is that the coding is messed up somewhere, or you forgot to upload some .js file.

I will be able to check out the coding later and see what you need to change to make the custom one work, or how to remove it and restore the original.

Acid, oh..ok...Thanks m8, ill take alook at it. It aint easy to try to figure this out when its all in Russian, and the how to install is something i even cant translate with google translate. just a mess with numbers and letters biggrin

UndisPuted3330, Luckily since the coding is in english I'm able to figure out whats what.
But while I search the codes I would suggest you to try uploading all files again, all of the .js and validator files.
And then try re-building the template.

I use that template too, and I'm heavily modifying it for my needs.
A lot of images in the coding, and a ton of jquery, so keep in mind that it could slow down the loading. The html5 and css3 makes it quite a lot quicker though.

yeah. when i downloaded it i made a test before going to the site i want it. so many files and folders here. But i love trying stuff out, so this is good practice. And the main page is loading slow sometimes, just as you sayed. May i take a look at your site?

And i just figure out that the user bar doesnt show up in main page, but after installing the New and Photo, the bar suddenly appeared. biggrin

UndisPuted3330, I think the code for the panel is $ADMIN_PANEL$ or something.
Try adding that after </head> or after <body>.
Not sure about this though

Acid, ok thanks m8, The user bar suddenly showed up in blog - Forum ect, so its ok. But i got another problem now, When i make a new page, and when i click the link to the new page ive made, i cant see it. it brings me to main page no mather what i do. i think its becouse of the main page i use. You know anything about that m8?

UndisPuted3330, it's because the main page does't use $BODY$ or $CONTENT$
So the new page simply uses the same exact template as the main page.
You have to edit the new page, or use this:

ah okey. To bad that one is without the slider, becouse i really liked that one. So i guess ill just stick to the Ucoz site twhich is allready installed, and try to sort out something with those.

Now ive been sitting 1 hour trying to sort out the photo section. Hard to find out where to add the right CSS at the right place.

UndisPuted3330, the photo section is reaaally hard, took me two days to fully fix it, and I'm a professional developer.
I actually got to say that megapolis is not a good template for a newbie.

I could help with fixing the template directly, if you'd want to entrust me to use your control panel.
