Directing new articles to homepage |
Hi,
Please instruct me as to how to do these two things: 1. I renamed 'blog' to 'submit article'. How do I fix it so that new articles appear on the home page in order of most 'liked' or most recently posted? 2. Can I replace the text/posting module with one like this? This posting field is simpler and more user friendly than the one on my website. 3. Or, how can I create a page like this for members to submit their posts, then have the most recent posts appear on the homepage by making the titles hyperlinked to the posts? 1. If you want your blog to be the website home page, you set this in Control Panel -> Settings -> Common settings -> When opening the main page redirect to: -> select "Blog". If you simply want to show a certain number of blog posts on the home page, you can do this with the help of Informers: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/37-457-1
2. First, the forum posting form and the posting form of other modules are different. Second, the posting form on our Support Forum is custom and differs from the default forum posting form. What are the exact features of the posting form that you want to change? 3. Users can add posts to one of the modules (Blog, Publisher etc.), and then you can use Informers to display the posts on the home page. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
