Customizing a Custom Theme |
I bought a theme from ucoz and they applied it for me. I want to change the colors and background colors and was wondering if I could edit the template to do that.
Also, is it possible to get my site to look similar to the site the-arete.com ? And can I add an application form for users to access my site of which I can Accept or Deny them? My site is a guild site for a game so id rather not have strangers looking at the forum and stuff. Can I change privacy settings as well? Can I add more sliding images at the bottom? I want a smaller version too to display guild leaders and officers. I hope these questions can be answered. Thanks! |
Kyou, it is certainly possible to change them; you'll need to inspect the elements you wish to change and find the relative CSS styles to adjust. If you provide your site URL I may be able to point you in the right direction.
It's certainly possible, however, that is going to be at your discretion. We do not assist with full site template development here on the forums. You can create an applications process by using the default Users group as a pending applications group with no permissions. Then when you wish to accept users you can move them to the default Checked group. For privacy adjust the user permissions as required in Users > User Groups > Set permissions of all groups. I have no idea what you're talking about. This sounds like custom coding, however, which we don't provide full assistance here on the forums. We can point you in the right direction though if you provide a site URL. Hope this helps, and good luck. Jack of all trades in development, design, strategy.
