1. Is it possible to remove the uCoz ad banner from the website?

Of course, it is possible. Removal of the ad banner is a paid service that is included into all paid plans starting from the Basic one. To disable it:

1. Go to your website's Control Panel -> Top bar -> $ Paid services -> Paid services.

2. Select any plan except the Minimal one (it does not include removal of the ad banner) and the period for which you want to buy it.

3. Click Buy and follow further system instructions.

P.S. Hiding of the required uCoz ad banner is a serious violation of the uCoz Terms of Use that leads to blocking of your website!

2. Is it possible to set a color scheme of the built-in ad banner?

Unfortunately, it is not possible at present. Though, it is possible to set a banner position (left or right). To do so go to Control Panel -> uCoz banner and copyright adjustment -> Banner position, select a position and click Save.

3. I have found a website that violates the uCoz Terms of Use.

Please forward this information to the uCoz Abuse Team by means of the following form (at the bottom of the page): http://www.ucoz.com/abuse/

4. I have just created a website and there is no ad banner there. What should I do? Will my site be blocked?

The uCoz ad banner is not displayed on new websites for the first 10 days. It will appear when this period is over, do not worry. Of course, your website is not going to be blocked for that.

Deathbringer, usually tickets are answered pretty fast, but sometimes it may take longer than it should due to different circumstances. In order to identify your request please provide the ID number of your ticket via the Private Message, please.
As for your issue, I'll take a closer look at it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Can't find ID of the message. About the making video - I really don't want to waste time on this and think that it's not necessary, because all my friends I've asked to check my site reported about same issue. Friends are from Russia, Turkey, Germany, Israel, USA and other countries and they all was not able to close ucoz addbanner and site was suddenly opening new windows with Bing advert.

wow! This is super awful support I've ever seen from ucoz! Received answer today (3-4 days waited for it) and they didn't wrote anything about my issue - just an instruction how to purchase subscription packet to disable ucoz banner... Not a single word about the popping up windows with advert! Ridiculous!

Deathbringer, in order to resolve the issue with the ticket you need to provide the ID number please, it's pretty complicated to find it without it.

Also, the URL of your website would be just great as well, so that I could check your website and the issue you're experiencing.

For me it works fine now - I can close (hit on X) Ucoz banner at the top of the site and new windows with advert aren't popping. But! My friend from Russia just checked the web-site and showed me through Skype how the site looks like for him - on each page appear video-block with advert and at right side of the web-site sits some casino banner. What's this!? Where can I get clear answer from Ucoz team why on my web-site are placed advertisement, while Ucoz says that for free packet users only one advertisement on the web-site will be used - Ucoz banner? More than that, I've set this banner to be at the top of the web-site, but this worked only for me, while for other users it's placed at the right side of the pages.

You've said that you removed popping windows with advert on my web-site. Thanks for this, I really appreciate this, but who put them there? Ucoz? Because, I didn't.

Deathbringer, the thing is that for every country different ads are used, this why in Russia, there will be an ad in Russian and in Scotland or USA it will be in English. Also, for some countries, it can be a video ad and for others an ad banner.

Unfortunately, it depends not on uCoz but on the advertiser we are working with. Sometimes there might be a mistake and if it was confirmed it can be changed, but you must understand that the ad banner will be displayed in any case, and the only way to protect your visitors from ads is to become a premium user.

The issue for your Russian friend may be that he hasn't cleared the cache for his browser.

I think that bar can affect the look of the site...its better to put alternative way like flash banner or something that looks good and thats also the reason why two of our newly build site here in ucoz was deleted because of that bar all of the members dont like the bar on the top.....hope admin will appriciate for our concern
