If you delete a category full of photos in photo album module (control panel), without deleting each individual file inside that category first, does the space allocated for the pictures is cleaned up automatically ?

Checking the file manager, it seems not. Is there a delay ?

Because in this case i can fill up all space without having any access to any file. Not to mention it won't be fair at all such a thing.
