Move group from ban?

I would like to know after a user is banned FOREVER he/she would be moved to the group "Banned" automatically. I almost got the code.

I came up with this so far.

Code
<?if($_BANNED_TILL$='1')?>$GROUP_ID$='255'<?endif?>


I do not know where to place the code or if I got it right... I couldn't come up with anything else. Please help.

What are you trying to achieve, exactly? You cannot edit the system codes like that so your code won't work.

I want a user to be moved to the group "Banned" if they are activity blocked permanently.

$Administrator$, as far as I know you can only move users to the Banned group manually.
