category hidden entry

Hello.
I got a question about any module where I can add entries, BUT is it possible to hide entries from one of the categories un entries view?

For example I got 3 categories - 1 & 2 categories as default are shown in module entries view, but 3rd category entries are hidden in entries list..?!

I just wanted to use one module for standard entries adding and view BUT 1 category entries for informer purposes.

Korijs, Pardon me if i misunderstood you

but if you want to hide entries of specific category of module on page of entries

For this example [Module: Site News, Category: 1]

Control Panel > Site News > Appearance of entries

<?if($CUR_GROUP_ID$!=4 && $CID$==1)?>

<?else?>

Bluecube, what is CUR in this code?
If u mean user group restriction - that unfortunately not for me this time, cuz I need hide specific category entries in main module entries look BUT use that specific category in informer content which could see all users.

I think with above code can help you hide entry in specific category in main page. You remove the code $CUR_GROUP_ID$!=4 is Ok.

$CUR_GROUP_ID$!=4 is there so that only you (Administrator) can view those entries...for all else it will be hidden...you can remove it if you like...
