Ok, so I've been struggling with my Ad-Board for a while now.
I was wondering it it's possible to change the number of characters/text you're allowed to enter in the ad's "brief description" which I named "Extra Information" on my website www.ugconnection.ucoz.com The ad-board can be found on the page "Player Zone". I already changed the maximum length of the ad text (in module settings of ad-board) to 100 characters but it doesn't seem to work properly. I can add way more than 100 characters and that's something which I want to avoid. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? Thanks in advance! |
Maximum brief description is 1000 characters.
I suggest that you can disable brief description and then using Entry full text to extend the maximum characters. Please note: 1. you should remove $BRIEF$ code in the Entry full text template (Ad board) and replace by $MESSAGE$. 2. when you use entry full text, there will be no text for previewing in the Ad board main page/section and category. |
