Why couldn't uCoz figure out a better way? I'm really disappointed to see these kind of ads on ucoz. Attachments:

VZ, what is the exactly problem with the ad? Its size/position, its design or its content? Please, argue your choice.

The problem is the size and the fact that it appears every time a user arrives at the site.
It is ridiculously obvious. It makes a joke of any site. Truly unprofessional. Understandable, but very very unprofessional. Finally, annoying like hell. There are a lot of better ways, this one truly sucks! Thanks |
I posted about this same issue earlier today:

I agree with what others have said. I just posted on the forum that Clyde linked to and I'd like to add my voice here as well. The content of the ad is fine, but the fact that it prevents people who aren't logged in from viewing the site unless they know to click away from it is a huge problem. Many of my visitors are not necessarily the most tech-savvy people so they may not think to click away and not know what else to do other than not use the site.
As I said on the other thread, please consider changing the format of the ad to something which does not interfere with the ability to view entire pages of the sites. Thank you, D F |
