Hi there,

Long time user of the service, very occasional poster on the forums. I think that Let's Encrypt - https://letsencrypt.org/ - would be beneficial for a lot of uCoz users, least of all because we wouldn't have to worry about fumbling around with the extra cost of SSL certificates for those of us using custom domains - Let's Encrypt would automate this process for custom domains. Plus they automate the process of keeping certificates up to date. I can't begin to imagine how this would benefit uCoz users. Plus, other popular web hosts provide this.

Please consider adding Let's Encrypt as a feature for uCoz websites.

DannyD, thank you for your suggestion. Any of the uCoz users can use Let's Encrypt - there's even a tutorial here on how to install it: https://forum.ucoz.com/forum/38-21006-1
Good things come to those who wait!

Felicia, its a little bit outdated. I will make a new one. I hope I could published it soon. I tried the new approach on dealing this let's encrypt and it only took me less than an hour setting up my TLD and SSL.
DannyD, I think you misunderstood the statement support. Let's encrypt does not support technical issues on their side. Check their pricing plans.
