Ok, so I'm making my site for a GTA "Family" with 6 ranks, AKA The Usergroups

Is there any way I can assign a usergroup 1 Specific forum section to post?

Korsakoff, yes there's a way

1. editing forum boards permissions

- go to CP ---> Forum ---> Management of forums and sections ---> Forum board ---> Edit icon --->
-Forum entries may be read by:
-New threads may be posted by:
-Replies may be posted by:

you can edit the forum board settings to your needs so the user group you want can only post in the boards you want

Korsakoff, you are at the right place just press the edit icon ---> and edit the permissions smile

But I need to give the Unvalidated people just the permissions to look at the Validation Section

Maybe this can help:

I can only select Associate, Picciotto, Soldato, Capodecina, Consigliere, Godfather and Administrator, but I just need the Unvalidated to be able to have that too.

Korsakoff, no you cannot manage permission for certain boards with editing user permissions you need to do it like this:

1. go to all the boards where you Not want the user to post or even see then just edit the permissions in these boards
- go to CP ---> Forum ---> Management of forums and sections ---> Forum board ---> Edit icon --->
-Forum entries may be read by:
-New threads may be posted by:
-Replies may be posted by:

unmark the user group in the boards that you want to be invisible for them and save so only the board that you want to be visible for the user group will appear in forum for them
