hi guys,

i am very new to this tool. I cannot find anything to allow visitors to upload their files. E.g. how can an external upload a CV? Very appreciated if you could explain step-by-step how to do it. cry

banto78, go to the website Control Panel -> Users -> User groups -> click near the group you need -> find 'Forum' and tick the option 'Upload any file'.

thanks for you reply. I have followed your instructions but cannot see find any Forum section...

I see only these indeed:

+ Other

+ Users

+ Comments

+ Page Editor

+ Publisher

+ Site News

+ File Catalog

+ E-mail Forms

please advice.

banto78, probably you don't have the forum module installed. Do you want to enable file uploading for another module? I assumed you wanted it for the forum module since you had created the thread in this section.

banto78, when you post, there should be the option Attach file: below the editing area. But if you need a module, specifically designed for file uploading, I would rather suggest File Catalog.
