| How do I diable premoderation comments |
I've never used a forum before so I'm having a hard time looking for the information I need. When somebody goes to my site they can't see the info I have posted on the home page which is news page. I've seen that I have to disable premoderation comments. 1) What does premoderation comments mean? 2) I've seen that in order for guests to view the info on the news page you have to disable premoderation comments in the user permissions and I've tried to do that, but I'm not exactly sure how to do this. I've checked to box's next to the groups on the line says premoderation, but a box pops up saying it removes rights and the content still isn't viewable by guests. I'm lost and frustrated!!! Please try to explain this to me in more detail!!!!!

Stephanie, premoderation is not what you need. Premoderation is used for other users' post - if a user or a guest posts smth, you need to approve such post first for other users to see.
You need to check other permissions of the users groups, whether they are allowed to read/view news entries. You might also need to check the permissions for certain pages via Control Panel -> Page Editor -> Page management -> Edit information -> Groups that have access to the page. If nothing helps, provide your website address. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
