| Changes in the Pricing Policy: New Possibilities and Plans |
 We've been preparing the changes in our pricing and plans for several months, and today we are ready to announce them. Starting from September (approximately September 22) we introduce new prices and add new options to the packages, such as:
We've always been the most inexpensive website builder, and if we take into account the features uCoz offers — the most functional as well. And we still want to keep the title, so the prices remain affordable. We understand that many of our premium users have already purchased the existing packages or were counting on the existing prices. We will continue to provide all purchased services for their original prices. Besides, the current plans can still be acquired until the new plans have been introduced. Afterwards only the new plans and prices will be available. Want to switch to the new plans? The previously purchased plans can be cancelled at any time — you will have the funds returned to your website’s account and will be able to select and buy a new plan. We gave a lot of thought to the new plans before introducing them, but it is likely that we will continue to fine-tune them, adjusting and extending more options for the premium users into the future. Our goal is to make the plans clear and useful; to remove the options most users don't need from the plans, and make them available for purchase as separate services. That can be done only through active communication with the users, so we will be very glad to receive your comments and suggestions.

It would be best to allow people to decide what code they want ! How do you decide what code a site receives ? Maybe i can read and talk Russian very well and my site is also in Russian. How do you know i am not Russian and why do you force me to use the lower quality templates found on the English site http://ucoztemplates.com/ ? Not to mentions that Russians have very skilled programers. What if i am a french citizen of Russian decent and i know perfectly to talk and write Russian and i am making a site for Russian community ? Vorpal, Urs, if you understand Russian well then it isn't really a problem to switch to Russian in CP and then buy a plan. In any case, if you want to get a template from utemplate.pro, I'm sure it can be easily resolved by contacting the Support Team.

I've cancelled my old plan in order to buy the new OPTIMAL PACKAGE PLAN but I didn't even see the NEW PRICING PLANS on my control panel. Why? uCoz didn't even announce or make clarification that the new pricing policy is not yet implemented to English users.
Now I've paid the old plan again... what the heck? It's so disgusting to read this NEW PRICING PLANS yet we cannot see those NEW PACKAGES/PLANS on my control panel.  >( When will these NEW PLANS be implemented to English users? We apologise for the delay in the release of the new pricing structure, and lack of communication in this delay, however, are working with full efforts to resolve a series of unforeseen technical difficulties and to release this service update within the next fortnight. At the moment our technical division can only give an approximate date of the 22nd September. This is subject to change but for the moment is the target date. Again we apologise for this unforeseen delay and would like to let our users know there is no reason to worry - the new pricing plans and packages will be available for purchase soon.

Have you seen the reaction of the Russian community ?
After seeing that no one will buy the new packages after a month or so i think based on statistics you will change the prices back - closer to the old ones. Right now many of them are 100% more expensive. They are going to lose more than 50% of their customers that used to pay the basic 3$ package for no ads that now costs 6$. They are also going to lose half of the users that used to buy the 5.49$ package for the shop module that now are forced to buy the 10$ package. (or 7.99$+1.99$) while also lowering the maximum FTP upload size. Just wait and see what a huge impact the new prices will have. There are so many features no one needs ! Examples : Antivirus - nobody needs it. Backup - that you can't export to another platform is useless - also isn't uCoz reliable ? so why does it need backup ? More storage - rarely you can fill up the site when you can host for free an infinite amount of GB/TB on the net on different free sites and various accounts. Mobile Version of site - just take a responsive template. Social Media Publisher for all modules - nobody needs. 5 Images or a Discount from Fotolia, - nobody needs. Site's Local User Database - when everything is social now, nobody needs such a thing. Hide Statistics Counter - not needed. Attach Files to Email Forms - the contact form doesn't work properly in the first place. Image Watermark on Uploaded Pictures - everyone can do it in their editing program. etc. What do you mean uCoz's Copyright for OPTIMAL "can be chosen" ? uCoz lacks a good management that can balance the price for the premium users. Instead they sell packages that remove advertisements that were put there by uCoz in the first place.
