Summer update at uCoz

Summer is all about sun, beaches, vacations, and partying. But here at uCoz it is also the time of much-awaited updates. Today we are happy to announce one of them. According to your numerous requests we have introduced additional fields for the main modules of the system.

Feel like you could use some extra space because the default fields are not enough? Then this update is for you! Check our blog for more details.

Apparently the new field "Entry brief description" replaces the old "Show brief version of the text if it is too long" option. When it is checked, the old option is automatically removed from the Module settings.

That's how is has always worked, you either use the "Entry brief description" field or the "Show brief version of the text if it is too long" option.

And when I added a new entry, the brief version of the text already existing in old entries doesn't appear anymore.

Please clarify which option you used before and which option you have now.

So, will this apply to user profile form? There's always been need for additional textboxes on editing profile.

Hello, i have a problem with the extra additional fields from games module... they don't show up... i have modified the entry adding/edditing page as it says in your blog, even if it was already a code for them inside...

<?if($EXTRA_FIELDS$)?>
$EXTRA_FIELDS$
<?endif?>

but the fields still don't show up..
My website is hosted on s105 server.
Can you help me please?
