How can i make it so that when a user registers at my site that he has to fill in a Nickname and that that will be shown instead of the first part of his email?

mfoster0106, why would you do that ? it does not make sense . the user address email will be invalid !
i don't think you can do that without the use of PHP (PHP is not available for free plan ). A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new

mfoster0106, go to Control Panel » Users » Module settings and make the field "Username" available in either the first or the second stage of the registration: http://take.ms/8VDpY
