1. Is it possible to remove the uCoz ad banner from the website?

Of course, it is possible. Removal of the ad banner is a paid service that is included into all paid plans starting from the Basic one. To disable it:

1. Go to your website's Control Panel -> Top bar -> $ Paid services -> Paid services.

2. Select any plan except the Minimal one (it does not include removal of the ad banner) and the period for which you want to buy it.

3. Click Buy and follow further system instructions.

P.S. Hiding of the required uCoz ad banner is a serious violation of the uCoz Terms of Use that leads to blocking of your website!

2. Is it possible to set a color scheme of the built-in ad banner?

Unfortunately, it is not possible at present. Though, it is possible to set a banner position (left or right). To do so go to Control Panel -> uCoz banner and copyright adjustment -> Banner position, select a position and click Save.

3. I have found a website that violates the uCoz Terms of Use.

Please forward this information to the uCoz Abuse Team by means of the following form (at the bottom of the page): http://www.ucoz.com/abuse/

4. I have just created a website and there is no ad banner there. What should I do? Will my site be blocked?

The uCoz ad banner is not displayed on new websites for the first 10 days. It will appear when this period is over, do not worry. Of course, your website is not going to be blocked for that.

Locky, you can remove the ad banner for a very small cost if it's needed. Otherwise design around the banner. wink

I know the uCoz system, just i said this advertise (which disappeared) limited the use of the page.

And now, the advertise is bugged sometimes. The size at times 300*250.

And I recommend the new advertise build on the page maybe with an "operator" (than "powered by"). It's idea is not intrusive.

Please provide a site URL where this occurs.

We are not planning on updating or adjusting the ad banner anytime soon. The existing design is staying.

Locky, the uCoz ad banner really looks differently for different countries. The current state can be changed in future but unfortunately we don't accept suggestions concerning the ad banner. It can always be removed for a fee, or even for free (for non-profit educational and social websites).

I don't need a removed uCoz banner. I just report one bug.

ucoz.com being in our URL & having to link it on our index pages isn't enough?!

DukeMan, the copyright and the ad banner are two different things with two different purposes. And both are removable.

Hi,
I'm new to ucoz and a newbie in website creation.
I joined a free ucoz account and made a small website but I'm afraid I may have erased this ad banner.
Where do I find its code?
Can you please have a check on my website to see if there's some kind of infringement regarding ad banner and ucoz copyright?
If so, how can I get back the code for those two features so that my website is not blocked?
Thanks in advance.

oneaty, the ad banner appears on new websites after ~ 1 week, so don't worry, you haven't removed it.

Even if I have replaced all code (html and css) with my own?

oneaty, it's added by the system automatically, it's not a part of the HTML/CSS/Variables within templates. smile
