Hello. I got idea for discussion, but i don't know how to realise that in real use in uCoz system.
Well, I wanted to created something like cups/tournaments module, for example I can use every uCoz standard module, BUT what about players and teams - the main problem - how can I create some points system in uCoz? Points for cups/tournaments wins. One example could be reputation - only admin can give reputation as points to cups/tournaments players. So it's easy way to create informer from users - reputation top, BUT if I want create 3 kind of cups (3 different games), than it isn't good idea about reputation cuz I can't make top reputation informer.. i need 3 different points system, where 1 could be reputation points, but other? ideas for discussion? |
Below it's a method which can help you, to add points for a team based on a result and automatically put you in a ranking among other teams in a certain league/cup:
For this, you can achieve this goal using the Ad Board Module – first, you need to activate this module from your website's Control Panel -> Inactive tab -> Ad Board -> Install the module -> Without categories. After the module is installed, go to Control Panel -> Ad Board -> Categories management . Here you can find: 1. Sections -> For each section you can add a League: Latvia, France, Spain, Lithuania, etc 2. Categories -> Here you can add the matches Also through the Control Panel of your website -> Settings -> Replacement of default phrases -> New entry form of the Ad Board Module. Now you need to access the Module settings, to choose the “sorting method” of the users (http://screencast.com/t/riGMR7Bpd) and after you will be able to add the points every team has in the sorting field http://screencast.com/t/7bMrsesaD.
