SWF files for banner \ logo

Hello! I apologize if the thread is the wrong place. I want to ask can I use SWF file for banner \ logo. (if yes please explain how). Never worked another time with these files and I have no idea. I read some threads from the forum but could not find an exact answer.

Stoyanoff, yes you can use SWF files in your website , but thats a tricky area , it may notplace correctly in several browsers likeit did in this thread so you might better think of using GIF images smile , my opinion

Stoyanoff, you may use both SWF and Gif files for a banner/logo. But SWF files are used for more complicated flash animation.

Natashko, I understand that the use of more complex animations, but just program that I made my banner gives it only in SWF happy
