Hi uCoz ... I wonder if you can help?
I'm basically wanting to create a new module in the Control Panel called "Painting Guide" which will have the same capabilities as our "Battle Reports" page, which is made up of the Publisher module ... >>> http://www.northayrshirewargamesclub.co.uk/publ Hopefully this makes sense or you can point me in the right direction. I've looked through various forums, but it's a bit confusing as I'm not too clued up with coding pages ... Thanks, Walts |
Balrog, it is impossible to create your own module or to install a module twice. I suggest you look at some of the other modules such as blog which are also based around the publishing of text-based entries although I am not certain this is what your are looking for.

Hi P, this is exactly what I'm looking for! But, there ar no "How-To's" to show me? I'm not too clued up on programming, so looking at another module is just confusing for me as I've tried this already. What I would like to do is create a new module in the Control Panel, but I can't see how to copy/create a duplicate of the publisher one ... can u tell me how to do this, or point me to a tutorial? ... These don't really have in-depth information on editing of the templates but the links here should give you a place to start with the settings.
http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/14-2236-1 http://video.ucoz.com/load/19-2-2 As for the editing of the templates if you open Control Panel > Blog > Design customisation you may be able to duplicate the layout & look although the uCoz tags may need to be changed in some parts. Hope this helps,
