Spam registrations on website

Ok so i seem to have a situation where i am regularly getting suspected spammers joining my site.
It started a few weeks ago and i have been getting 1 or 2 new members each day and none of them legit... i looked at their profiles and their emails are all .ru and their home website is usually some pornographic or advertising website. I am having to delete them each day.

I have disabled forum posting without email confirmation so i am not getting any spam posts as it is... However i am not happy about getting emails everyday and having to delete people all the time.

I would just like to point out that i have not removed any security codes or precautions and i don't know how these people or bots are finding my website and joining.

Could anyone help me to block this from happening? Help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

nomissivraj, it could be the same person or the same group of people, so when they sign up, you can put their ip address in the block list.

It's a bot and it's not that hard to find a website over internet. This could
be done by someone who dislikes you or you could be a random victim.

My suggestion is to restrict permissions.
