Main page template?! (separate template for the main page)

Is it possible to have a separate template (i don't know it this is the right way to ask) for the main page only? I'm trying to have a slide-show on the main page, so i deleted $GLOBAL_BFOOTER$ $GLOBAL_CLEFTER$....but it would be great to have those on all other pages. Is it possible? Thank you!

Deleting those global blocks from the main page won't stop it from being on other pages. Also by deleting the footer, you took off uCoz copyrights, which is prohibited unless paid for.

Tia, when editing/adding a page mark "Apply personal template for the page".

And yes, make sure you do not delete the copyright.
