This function is intended for quick replacing of one HTML fragment by another. For example, you need to replace "SITE LOGO" by "Interesting site", to do this you must enter "SITE LOGO" in the first field and "Interesting site" in the second. As the result all entries of "SITE LOGO" will be replaced by "Interesting site". Such actions may be done with any HTML code, e.g. you can replace images (logo), template variables ($code$) etc.

However, you must be very attentive when doing replacement, as it can take place even in unexpected places. For example, if you replace "a" by "b", this replacement will be made everywhere.

When using this function for the first time, get some training doing replacement for templates of just one module. If all was done as you expected, then proceed to the remaining modules. If something got wrong you can restore default templates by checking "Update design for all active modules" option in "Common settings" section.

This function allows to get some code from remote sites and output it on your site code. Remote means that pages can be located not only on your site but also on any other.

You can request code of any page (statical or dynamical) and output it in any template (except for entry appearance templates) with the help of special template variables $RCODE_id$.

System will cache received code and thus no constant delays (for retrieving remote page) will be implied. You can select necessary cache update interval suitable for your needs, but normal and recommended value is 5 or more hours. To update cached page immediately just re-save properties of current record (no modifications required).
Add import of remote page
URL of page to be imported:
Full address beginning with http:// (e.g. http://www.site.com/code.html).

Cache update interval:
Read information above the form.
