Sunny, The icons that appear next to the comments, can those icons be changed in appearance like with your own custom icon? Where can I find the $SOC_TYPE$.png to modify it with my custom icons?

I asked that question long ago and i did not get answer.

Elexy,

Sunny said you must be logged out your website but logged into a social network (at the moment either Facebook or Google+) for these icons to appear. If they do not appear, it is because you are not logged in to an external social website provided.

actually i did not log in to my website.
I log- in to my facebook then i visit my site as a guest then i try to comment using facebook but i got an error. (that is what im doing)
SO is there any solution to my problem? waiting ASAP...
thnx in advance.

The first step towards the solution is to provide the URL of the website with the problem smile

How can i remove uid icon on users coment, i try to add my own icon but system wont recognize icon. i need to replace this image
<?if($SOC_TYPE$)?><img src="/.s/img/icon/social/16/$SOC_TYPE$.png" alt="" /><?endif?>

Save the default CSS file for the social comments (e.g. from http://s101.ucoz.net/src/socCom.css ), and edit it as you need. Then upload the file to the website via File Manager or FTP, and add the link to this file to the "Page with full entry text and associated comments" template of the modules you need, e.g.

Code
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/socCom.css">

Sunny, I cant find this icon in css http://s101.ucoz.net/.s/img/icon/social/16/uid.png
Or we need to edit this http://s101.ucoz.net/.s/img/icon/social/uauth_icons_32x32.png
And why to add css cource in page with full entry and assocated comments when we can add it to apearance of comments and from there changes will be visible on every module or im mistaking..

Probably won't work this way, but you can try.

I can not find that anywhere in the "Page with full entry text and associated comments", all I do find is:
Code
<link type="text/css" rel="StyleSheet" href="/_st/my.css" />

But no where you one you mention.

Elexy, that's because you must add it there, below the link to the general CSS file.

and add the link to this file to the "Page with full entry text and associated comments"

Like this:

Code
<link type="text/css" rel="StyleSheet" href="/_st/my.css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/socCom.css">

And do not forget to replace /css/socCom.css with the link to your uploaded file.

Elexy, for CSS files to be read by browsers as CSS they do need to be .css. smile Elsewise the browser simply reads them as plaintext format that doesn't need to be compiled as part of the page.

I have a problem, people who sign via the available social networks aren't able to comment because it says "incorrect security code" when ther isnt one visible. Also the comment form just has smilies on the side for people who sign in via social network and not new comment system, and the option to sign in via vk.com disappeared. Link to test page : Link : This wasnt happening at first, it just started.
