Would like to cancel ucoz account and transfer custom domain |
The website I created a couple of days ago on ucoz is not accessible this morning. I have no idea as to why. I have not found ucoz's process and design elements to be user friendly. I PAID for a custom domain for a year on the ucoz site and I would now like to transfer it to a new web hosting company. How would I go about doing so?
I reviewed the other links asking for things like IP adresses, server numbers, etc. I do not have this information and have no clue or desire to look for it. Please do not respond back with sarcastic criticism. I understand that there are many who like ucoz however this does not fit for me. Please respond back quickly so I can proceed with transferring my domain. My website address is: www.kamrynkares.org |

What you can do is go to another new web service and just de-tatch your purchaded domain name and attach it to your new site. but once you leave the uCoz web services we cannot help you in any way with other services. what you should do is just manage the domain you purchased and attach it to your new website on your new web service. And its not nessecary to cancel your account becaus eyou aren't paying for it and you won't use it anyway after leaving uCoz. I don't know what service you will choose but it think since you got your domain transfered to your uCoz website that you know enough about transfering domains. If not go here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/37-435-1 and look at the turorials that sunny made about domain attachement in uCoz. Then just de-tatch your domain from your uCoz website and use it in your new service. Best Regards Animorph Moved to User Communication
