Hello,

After installing ssl feature a couple of months ago, I have been getting page warnings with the browser.

When I check it with browser 'web console tool', It shows me which images are having issues.

The images are part of the website design.

When I check them at the panel they are https:// (they should not cause a flag)

I have deleted and re-uploaded the images again to the https:// server and they are still being flagged.

Some smileys... they show as http:// but @control panel>files, they are https://

Clyde, the issue is caused by the links inside the code, they stayed the same. You can either replace them manually or via the backup restoration.

? I don't understand - if the "code" specifies an image which is stored in an https:// folder.

The code will always read the same since it's part of the design - the images in question have been removed and 'manually' uploaded to the https:// server.

Clyde, some old links may still be there. As I've said, you either need to manually check the code or use the restoration feature.

Checked and searched the entire code section by section.

No references to http:// - everything is https://.

Thru the web inspector feature I see a flagged http://... no_avatar.png - we do not have any image file on the site with that name nor code referencing it. We have a 'genericavatar.png' - so I don't know where that is coming from.

There are also references to some smiley names which we don't have.

The web inspector shows stored @ http://s102.ucoz.net - the code shows nothing with that address.

Since there is limited access to work with the sites @ the panel at ucoz, this is why I am bringing this up here.

Nothing in the code for the site nor anything in the file manager at our end would be the reason for these flags.

I backed up the site data to restore from backup... I get a pop-up to get in touch with technical support after I clicked on restore..

I did that about an hour ago - By now there are a few new posts and topics. By tomorrow will be more.

Is this the only way ? and Are backup/restore of only 'Blog' and 'Forum' sufficient - I am concerned if I restore 'Users', I will lose 'comments' as stated in the warning header from restore message.

Clyde, can you clarify where exactly are you receiving these warnings? Link & screenshot would be much appreciated.
As for the backup feature - it is enabled only by request by the support team. In order to enabled it, please send a ticket through the CP, mentioning the reason why you need it enabled and the link to the backup.

screenshot of unsecure message from browser after login.
Note: the login page is the only page that is secure.

Link & screenshot would be much appreciated.

If you look @ my last post above, you can see links that show unsecure and are flagged.

Clyde, please try clearing the cache memory of your browser. This is what I get: https://www.screencast.com/t/UhyJgFNF - the site is secured.

Felicia,

Everytime I close Firefox, the cache and 'all' cookies are deleted - the screenshot you show is of the 'Login Window' page - Which is the only page that shows secure when you log in, you can see the 'unsecure flags' - please read my statements in above posts. These things are showing up with all users once they log-in.

If I had 'real server access' as I do with my other 2 sites at hostinger, I know what the issues are and could fix them.

At the moment @ the Blog is showing - error with
Code
http://...no_avatar.png
which we don't have anywhere in code or site.

also @ the forum is showing error with an
Code
https://... br_nonew.gif
which in code reads as https:// ... and is really secure.

This thread was started one week today and still nothing has been addressed - I have basically written a 'novel' with explanations above and today I am presented with a screenshot of the 'Login Window' wacko It is so frustrating trying to get help here!
