Contest: Best uCoz Website

Hey everybody!

On August 1, we start accepting applications for the contest among uCoz websites, "Best uCoz Website".

The first prize is $1,000.

The contest offers a lot of different nominations and prizes: money rewards, tangible and intangible prizes.

Do not hesitate! Participate!

The contest will have three stages:
1. acceptance of applications
2. developing the website
3. voting of users and the jury.

For your website to take part, it must match the following criteria:
- It must be created in the uCoz system.
- It must be in English.
- It must NOT violate uCoz Terms of Use.

In future we plan to hold such contests for different language localizations of the system.

yoo, I'm sorry for the delay. As soon as the moderators approve your application, it will show up on the website. Thank you for understanding and patience.

HeinLay, the contest is pretty lengthy, so you should have enough time even to create a new website from scratch.
About the payment account: you should get one of those, if you can. But anyway, don't worry, we'll figure something out, if you win.

I don't really think blogs fit in "Hobbies" category.

kanat07, well, blogs are usually about something that you like: music, fashion, marketing, tacos. Aren't they? I think that's a good fit for the Hobbies category. Anyway, it's not a big deal which category you are in, is it?

I think there are too few categories. For example, I have site of wallpapers and couldn't choose appropriate category. You have suggestions tell me and I shall add my site to that category smile

I understand your concern, yoo. You know, it's not possible to make lots of categories. The same with the Oscars: there can be romantic dramas, political dramas and so on, but there's only one nomination for the best drama movie.

What I'm trying to say is that, if you think broader, you'll be able to categorize your website. Personally, I would go for the Internet category. Good luck wink
