For websites with the uID sign-in method (uID users)

It is not possible to edit the uID registration form, the registration form and the fields in it are the same for all websites that support uID.

For websites with the local sign-in method (local users)

It is possible to change/edit the local registration form.

To change the fields of the registration form go to Control Panel -> Users -> Module settings -> Fields of the registration form:
There are two columns of checkboxes near each field name. The first checkbox enables/disables a field, the second checkbox makes the field required/optional.

The default field names can be changed in Control Panel -> Substitution of default phrases -> Form for registering new site users. i.e. you can change the names into any names you need.

You can edit the template code of the registration form in Control Panel -> Customize Design -> User registration form and the code of the registration page in Control Panel -> Customize Design -> User registration page.

To change the sign-in method on your website, go to Control Panel -> Users -> Module settings -> Allowed methods of user authorization. Remember: switching to "local users” is available for premium users only (those who pay for any of paid packages for any period).

If the default registration form is not working, it is desirable to check the following:

!) JavaScript must be enabled in your browser;

!) your browser must accept cookies;

!) there can be a script conflict if you use third-party JavaScript or jQuery versions, incompatible with the uCoz jQuery version.

You can't add an option. But you can edit existing ones (their names), through CP > Customize Design > User registration page

martinphoto, as far as I can see your local registration form has been translated. Do you want to translate the uNet registration form?

There are 2 options of registrating yourself;

-www.yoursite.com/index/3 (new option and default)
-www.yoursite.com/index/3-1 (old option and still available)

Even when I disable : Local users of registration methode, it still works.

And the worst of all: You do not need confirmation of E-Mail.
And yes, I registrated myself here as the old option without confirmation mail.

This should be sorted out I think.

Kind regards, Weedsmoker.

If you have both Allowed methods of users authorization enabled in Users module settings then you have two registration forms - uNet and local. If you disable local users you have only uNet registration form, and if you disable uNet users you have only local registration form.

What do you disable and what works?

I want to know that how can i bring my site older registration default in place of the Unet profile as users of my site are asking me to bring the older registration form.As the choice is given that they can use this site registration form inspite of creating a Unet profile.But as the request of users I want to make my site registration form default in place of creating a Unet profile .

Control Panel » Users » Module settings
Go to "Allowed methods of users authorization:"
and uncheck "uNet users (uID)"

But if i do something like this the userbars(like my admin bar) from the simple users dissapear..is there any other way?because if someone makes a unet passport he/she have to go to unet.com just to use their control panel..

papp0us, only users with uNet accounts have User Bars. So if you disable uNet users at your website, then all your users won't have it.

Yes.

No.

If user uses uNet to login in website, this login will automatically add user to websites
user db. Which means, if user at least once logged in via uNet to website, his profile
is in websites db and he/she can login in website via it, even if uNet is disabled. Only
this time he/she will have to use Nickname. (Nick is in uNet profile personal settings)
