how to show topic icons.... n' change/upload my own....?

i have 2 questions....

Q1. in every topic posted on my forum it just shows the "page" icon.... where is the options to enable topic icons.... like hot threads icon etc.... sad
n' how can i upload my own topic icons....

Q2. i like a set of smileys.... which comes with the forum.... n i wanna keep all the smileys from it....n' add my own also.... i have a custom set of smileys build....
so will i have to add manually all the standard set icons also in this custom set? or is there anyother method....

1. Hot thread icon appears only after thread reaches certain post count.

thx for that info but i did search topic icons.... n didnt found what i was looking for....
like in other forums....when u make a thread or reply to a post....
there r options to choose a icon for the post.... like new.... update, music.... thumbs up , thumbs down , or the normal page,.... icons.... ++ such gif images.... which tells of the post....
they have random icons ....small tiny gif images for that.... isnt that option there? im not able to find it....
but here is only the default icon a notepad page image.... n hot thread which automatically changes after a certain no. of views....
so is it possible? some script? etc....

i just got into forum stuff so .... kinda plz advice....

uCoz doesn't have this exact feature.
