this is ture. but i only did that because this problem is very important and no one seems to find an answer yet.
Frankly... how would visitors be able to navigate through my website if they can't see sub-menus. you can also look at the bright side: if it is solved at one place i'll spread the news in other places. so all three places will know the solution for this problem. I appreciate your efforts in solving it. |
I have same problem in Firefox 3.6.2
Sub-menu items do not appear also Top admin bar is empty !!! Proof |
ursuletul, this is very interesting. Is your browser supporting javascript?
Are you using any specific add-on which could block pop-ups or anything? Me viewing: Image Another uCoz staff (Kurt) viewing: Image To be sure for 100%, I asked another uCoz staff (mehaNik) to check. [... With uCoz since December 2 2007 ...]

I'm also able to see the sub-menu. This is the proof

Thanks you Dartz, Tommy and Kurt. It seems now it works perfectly. I didn't change anything in the mean time.
To put this in a chronological way. 1. Yesterday it worked perfectly. The browser supports java-script and has just a mail notifier. All in all i think this could have been a small update that ucoz team made or a server that was restarted (that could have been responsible with that). Anyway thank you again for your time ! So I am having a problem now on my site kind of under the same issue of Firefox vs. IE. And before you put any "your coding is wrong" replies, please note that I am pretty knowledgeable in it. My issue is that i have set the authorization to local users to make it easy for other people that need to sign up to the site. Anyways........Now it seems that in Firefox we use our user name and password and it logs us in just fine but if someone does the same thing on IE it keeps showing them as a guest. I would really like to know how to do this without having to restore default templates or anything. Thank you in advance.

Lara, yes I see. I have just had a look at your website in Internet Explorer (IE).
I guess I could recommend resetting the design which can be done through the Control Panel (CP) -> Common Settings. Kind regards,

Lara, Have your browser updated with latest updates of Browser, Adobe Shockwave player and Adobe Flash Player (These are the most common reasons that affect page loading)

jackass, I tested everything out and even installed the latest version of firefox to check it and it all works , so all i can say is make sure that cookies are accepted by the browser, clear the cookies history; check whether JavaScript is enabled in your browser; clear the cache (temporary files) of the browser , this might be the problem
