  • Backup of your data helps to protect your website from accidental or deliberate deletion of modules (by you or someone who has access to the Control Panel).
  • A backup copy includes the data of all content modules and all uploaded files. It doesn't include module settings and templates (including global blocks), as well as pages of the "Page Editor" module, settings of the "E-mail Forms" module, statistic data of the "Statistics" module, users' private messages.
  • You can create backup copies not more often than once per seven days.
  • After you have created a backup copy, its size will be added to the amount of the occupied disk space, so if your website occupies more than 50% your disk quota will be exceeded and you won't be able to update your website. That's why we recommend that you download a created backup copy to your computer and remove it from the server.
  • If you are an experienced user and follow elementary security requirements (don't give your password to anyone, log in to the Control Panel from your own computer only, get e-mail by means of POP3 protocol etc.), it is not necessary to create a backup copy.

To restore data from a backup copy you must contact Technical Support via your Control Panel.

You can create backup copies from 00 a.m. till 09 a.m. only (server time).

If you remove a backup copy via Control Panel the disk space is recounted immediately.

Attention! To restore data from the backup copy you must have active payment for disk space expansion for the period of 3 months or more

Sunny, I don't know about this so good, but I can see this screen, but I didn't pay for disk space

Is that normal? Or maybe latet it will ask to pay or what...

And one more question, what to do if I want to restore a backab which is more than 15 Mb? I can't upload so big file to site.

And if I want to restore because of the bugs on my site, can I do it for free?

Waiting for answers, thanks smile

spokerakos, to restore a website you must contact Technical Support and explain them that you really need it. Then they'll enable restoration feature for you.

jackass, I have updated the info in the first post. After the update no payment is needed. You now need to contact Tech.Support and explain why you need restoration.

Upload it to a file hosting service (that gives direct links) and inform Tech. Support.

jackass, what does the red cross say? (hover a cursor over it to see). I guess the message is too long. Try again.

I created a backup of a template. I downloaded it, now I want to upload to another site, how can I do that?

Upload it to File Manager -> '_tbkp' folder. Then go to Templates backup section and click 'Restore'.

If you are not sure of the time, you can always see the server time on "control panel - Backup"

warezparadise, you did not answer the following questions:

warezparadise, did you check the boxes with the modules you now have problems with while restoration? Did you activate those modules before data backup restoration?
