Hello all,

Can somebody explane why today an awfull ad was visible on my website on the right upper site of the main page.
Not a small one that normaly is visible horizontal and with one can live with.
NO a large one 12 cm x 5 cm lager awfull banner sometimes like a gamble machine sometimes and with all kind of awfull advertising.

Is this just a one time event or do I face this from now on day by day ??????

Thanks in advance for any explanation. surprised

Cheers Candy

As it's a free service, I don't have problem with ads. But I'd rather see adspaces rather than big overlaying ads or popups, that often are porn oriented. And yes, non-automated ads from serious advertisers is something that needs to be spent some work on. You don't just want any ads in hope that people accidentally click, you actually want quality ads.

I completely agree with Urs and PixelKhaos.

The old 22px bar changed with 5 ads would have been way better than overlay spam-porn, non targeted ads that cover half the screen on some computer monitors.

There are many website builders that display No ads at all or they do very rarely in a subtle way.

The bottom blue strip that says "create free website" is a link to uCoz. The upper part of the add downloads trojans. My members have stopped coming to my site after having to restore their computers due to this mess.

PLEASE do something about this!
