| Creation of Subforums in the Forum Module |
The update is available on all servers  Yes, yes, yes! We did it!  As you've already noticed from the title, today we are ready to announce the release of a really long-awaited possibility to create subforums. The Forum module is one of the most frequently updated uCoz modules. For example, forum updates were included into the following releases: Update 2-2013 and Update 10-2013. What Are Subforums? Let's look at a specific example "for dummies". For example, we have a forum about Anime. There are lots of Anime series, so we need to create forum sections first, and one of them will be devoted to the popular Pokemon series. I decided to devote a separate forum board to my favourite Pokemon characters, but at the same time I need to divide them by types for easy navigation. With the new "Add subforum" button it becomes possible:  How Does It Work? It's simple. Subforums are forums that just have a deeper nesting level. It is possible to set personal permissions and settings for a subforum, or inherit them from the forum where the subforum belongs. The subforum creating page looks as follows:  If you want to change the order of subforums or move them to other forums, you can always do this in the "Organize forums" section.
