| Size of a file to upload – not more than 15 Mb. You should use the following data for FTP connection (you can see these data in FTP details):
FTP host: your_site.ucoz.com
FTP login: Nyou_site (N is a number or letter specified in FTP details of your account)
FTP password: the FTP password which you specified during registration. To establish FTP connection you should use special programs, e.g. CuteFTP, FTP Commander, FTP Navigator etc. Don’t use browser for this purpose. You can get additional information about the mentioned and other programs by means of search engines (Google, Yahoo! etc.). For FTP programs to work properly you should check your network settings, the settings of firewall and antivirus software. It is desirable to look into error log. If there is a connection to the server an error will be clearly described. If there is no connection then there is something wrong with the network or client settings. You may often need to use passive mode, if your provider sets limitations. ATTENTION! To establish FTP connection you should observe the following conditions:
1. Your e-mail must be confirmed.
2. Security programs must not forbid FTP protocol connection.
3. The passive mode must be selected.
4. Enter the data into FTP client manually, and not by means of copy/paste. Upload .htm and .html files via File Manager. Static files are not very welcome at uCoz. If you need them more then 10 you have chosen a wrong hosting.

| I am using FileZilla and want to connect via ftp to my homepage. I fill in the data i need, ftp username, password & host. If i click on connect, i get this:

|  I was uploading the bakup file through FTP with Filezilla, but the connection reset again and again, that means the progress returned to 0% for many tims
I think this sentence is very important :"Connection reset by peer". What does this mean? Is there a file size limitaion on Ucoz's sever? And How can I sove this?

| You can see FTP details in your Control Panel at the top. If you forgot password, you can change it in CP -> Security -> Change FTP password.

| I want to make /wads/ directory on my site accissible to visitors, so they can view and download files. I haven't seen any option for changing permission in file manager. So is there any way of doing it? The real reason why I need it: I'm hosting few Skulltag (game) servers with several addons (wads). The game has a client that automaticaly finds and downloads needed wads, but I must specify a path where it should serach for them. But when I set path to my wads directory, client fails to download them (because it actualy redirects poor client to 403 error page). Help?

Error: Critical error I have tried changing the name of the song (one of my m8s songs), and it still doesnt accept it. So its nothing to do with the file name as SUCH. However I need to use this ftp, as it takes too long through the website as you cant queue things. Please help? =]
