Size of a file to upload – not more than 15 Mb.

You should use the following data for FTP connection (you can see these data in FTP details):
FTP host: your_site.ucoz.com
FTP login: Nyou_site (N is a number or letter specified in FTP details of your account)
FTP password: the FTP password which you specified during registration.

To establish FTP connection you should use special programs, e.g. CuteFTP, FTP Commander, FTP Navigator etc. Don’t use browser for this purpose. You can get additional information about the mentioned and other programs by means of search engines (Google, Yahoo! etc.).

For FTP programs to work properly you should check your network settings, the settings of firewall and antivirus software.

It is desirable to look into error log. If there is a connection to the server an error will be clearly described. If there is no connection then there is something wrong with the network or client settings. You may often need to use passive mode, if your provider sets limitations.

ATTENTION!

To establish FTP connection you should observe the following conditions:
1. Your e-mail must be confirmed.
2. Security programs must not forbid FTP protocol connection.
3. The passive mode must be selected.
4. Enter the data into FTP client manually, and not by means of copy/paste.

Upload .htm and .html files via File Manager. Static files are not very welcome at uCoz. If you need them more then 10 you have chosen a wrong hosting.

FireFTP works just fine in all of my other accounts. I see no reason for it to not work here.

I used to use Filezilla. But about 2 years ago they added a lot of stuff to the options menu that I didn't understand. So I deleted it. I wasn't willing to spend a week relearning it. Why make things harder than they have to be?

addons, you must confirm the registration e-mail to get FTP work.
uCoz doesn't have any problems with FTP... read FTP help on the main page of the Control Panel.

It's the space in file name.

My ftp just started working out of no where, but where am i suppose to upload to? There's no public_html. And the reason i don't want the file manager is because it cant upload a lot at once...

fozz, you think uCoz is a standard hosting - this is not so.

1. uCoz is the CMS for creating dynamic projects (not for static .html files).
2. public_html is just a standard name of a folder in web-server, and it may have any other name as admin wants (www, public, html etc).
3. after you have connected via FTP you are in public_html folder at once.

Your mind is not transformed for using new generation of web creating technology yet, so choose any of old style hostings and upload your files there.
