General Information It is possible to attach a custom domain to your uCoz website, e.g. mysite.com, mysite.net etc., for FREE.

How to Attach a Domain by Method 3: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/54-18150-1 What's the difference between Method 2 and Method 3? When you use Method 2, your new domain is hosted at uCoz servers. If you use Method 3 - you just change the domain name (to be more precise you just get one more name for your site because it will be accessible by both names - the new one and the old one) but your domain remains hosted at another registrar's servers. White, where are you trying to attach the subdomain? To the website where you have attached your primary domain? This is not possible. Subdomain should be attached to another website.

I have my domain, www.mysite.info (I attatched/parked it). Now I want the .info to be my primary domain. Is this possible? If so, how can I do it.

I have a site named yyy.ucoz.com on ucoz server and then I registered a domain name(yyy.biz) with Godaddy and started using that domain after attaching to ucoz. Now i want to add a sub domain. I have a site zzz.shopmaniz.biz. (which is not in ucoz) How do I do this? Can you also tell me what is arbitrary IP? ---- Life Is Beautiful

Yes, that is exactly what you need to do - go to Domain Attachment -> Edit domain records in SIMPLIFIED MODE. Specify the subdomain, and the IP of the server of zzz.shopmania.biz (select "arbitrary IP" in the drop-down list - it will mean that the subdomain will be directed to another hosting and not to one of uCoz servers). We have built a page at www.safetrade.ucoz.com - we have bought a domain "www.safetrade.pl" and we are paying for making it more popular (mailing, banners, links etc.)
At the provider site we set up (in panel) that domain should redirect. so if you type in www.safetrade.pl - the www.safetrade.ucoz.com page loads up Can we do better than this? Can we make our site real www.safetrade.pl domain or is it too late? Would we have to rebuild our whole page from the beginning to get www.safetrade.pl as a base domain and get email adress with @safetrade.pl ? Post edited by Kimbo - Friday, 2009-11-20, 10:42 PM
