TennesseeFan07, your site is hosted on Server 57 which as you have said is currently blocked by Comcast. We have sent a request to Comcast for the server to be unblocked and are actively awaiting a response.

NShmoron, No, this will not resolve the problem. All you currently can do is wait.
The staff are awaiting answer from Comcast regarding unblocking the server. Proud uCoz user since 2006

Okay, a friend of mine can't connect to the site.
1. How the problem looks. A friend of mine cannot access http://actionpacked.ucoz.com. It gives him the error it would if he were not connected to the internet at all while trying to access his web browser. 2. When it started. He hasn't been able to access the site in the past two days. We switched to a new site, the one I just linked, and it happened again after working for a couple hours. 3. Repeatability. It's only this guy, at home, on both of his computers. 4. Your IP. His IP is 68.85.184.65. Comcast 5. Ping of the inaccessible website He did not do this. 6. Tracert of the inaccessible website How to run tracert Tracing route to actionpacked.ucoz.com [195.216.243.26] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 10 ms 14 ms 11 ms te-0-1-0-3-sur01.springfield.ma.boston.comcast.n et [68.85.184.65] 4 * * * Request timed out. 5 * * * Request timed out. 6 * * * Request timed out. 7 * * * Request timed out. 8 * * * Request timed out. 9 * * * Request timed out. 10 * * * Request timed out. 11 * * * Request timed out. 12 * * * Request timed out. 13 * * * Request timed out. 14 * * * Request timed out. 15 * * * Request timed out. 16 * * * Request timed out. 17 * * * Request timed out. 18 * * * Request timed out. 19 * * * Request timed out. 20 * * * Request timed out. 21 * * * Request timed out. 22 * * * Request timed out. 23 * * * Request timed out. 24 * * * Request timed out. 25 * * * Request timed out. 26 * * * Request timed out. 27 * * * Request timed out. 28 * * * Request timed out. 29 * * * Request timed out. 30 * * * Request timed out. Installed firewall Windows 7 default 11. Your antivirus I'm not sure. I don't think it's the antivirus. 12. Other software related to internet connection (speed and traffic optimizers, banner blockers, antiphishing software and antispyware). None. 13. Screencast. None. 14. Your comments on the problem and any other info you think is important. Just again, the fact that the original website was working for him, but it stopped. The new one and any others I create will not work either. |
SNA, according to the tracing results Comcast is blocking his access to the server (server 26), where your website is hosted. Ask your friend to contact his ISP. Meanwhile he can use proxies/anonymity services to access the website.

Okay, I made my website a few weeks ago and me viewing it and working on the CP was working just fine. After a day of not logging into the website to edit it or looking at the web address. I am now getting a message saying "cannot connect to server" My internet connection is just fine, My firewall has never been an issue, I have nothing else running on my computer, I am not understanding why its now not letting me even log in to the website to edit my OWN site. Confusing how Even after I made another website, it did the same damn thing after logging out of it and then trying to log in the next morning. Why is your guys websites always kicking people off and not letting us fix our sites or even edit them after a few days? Really confused.

Roxy5365, please provide the website addresses. And provide also the tracing results (guide: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/30-2310-1 ) - all servers are up atm so I'm almost sure it's your ISP blocking access to the server (is it Comcast?). But to be sure I need the tracing results.
