My thoughts :
The attack is destined to destroy uCoz reputation as a reliable service. Probably a Google project to undermine it's competition or some senior hackers of the government with serious equipment doing this. The attack won't stop since it's purpose is to destroy a company. You will have to resort to other methods. My advice : Buy or develop a decent DDoS Protection / Anti DDos service. Usually people & companies that were hacked several times learned to buy proper defense that also allows a quick removal of the attack. |

You my friend should be the owner of Ucoz, that is exactly what Ucoz should do. This isn't the 1st time this happen, it has happen several times before. In my time of being with Ucoz, this has happen 3 times. This is the 4th time it has happen now. When they are down, there is nothing one can do but wait for them to be restored by the Ucoz staff. I still remember the 2nd time this happen, it took almost 3 weeks to get the servers back up. This is the 1st time Ucoz actually has said publicly it is a DDoS attack against them or at least I never seen them post about it like now. In the end, all Ucoz did was just move all the servers to a new one. They would tell you sometimes that it is your service provider blocking access to your website and all, but that is not true at all. All it takes is moving the website servers to a new one... And that's it problem fixed. So imagine how many members/visitors/traffic a large website loses because of this. I mean, you can't contact the members, you get a ton of support tickets sent, you can't tell them what is going on because you can't even access the control panel... It's freaking nuts. Ucoz needs a damn DDoS protection program/package/software or whatever... NOW!!! Aren't you people tired of all this?! Proud Ucoz Member Since 2013

Elexy, That is not possible cuz the DDoS attacks the center data and the data of our site is blocked from the internet they cant reach it yet to copy it to a new server |

Vorpal, please stop coming out with these fantasy stories. Honestly, I am beginning to tire of dealing with them. You are not correct. Please do not continue to trigger our users with negative responses by coming out with this propaganda. I will not tolerate it the next time.
Elexy, the same applies to you at the moment. I respect you are concerned about your site however ranting here to myself and Nata is not going to change anything. Please also keep in mind the forum regulations - we do not tolerate cussing. Venkat, this is actually getting silly now. Please do not continue to post. This is your first and last warning. kakashi, no we cannot move sites across servers. In addition we have no ETA at the current moment. Our technicians are working to resolve these issues asap. Ovidyu, TurbO_PuZ, our technicians are dealing with these problems. Please understand our situation and that we are doing our best to bring everything back online asap. Jack of all trades in development, design, strategy.

Paradox
If you don't want or care about personal opinions of others regarding this problem why don't you close this topic down. No offense but it's the most rational thing to do considering the circumstances. Your specialists and partners are already doing what they can. We can't do anything to help you. So our opinions can be seen as useless in this case. I don't see the point of having someone wasting his time replying to stories for kids. The company statement is enough. Threatening your own customers on the forums is really not for me to judge but some say you should look into this matter. More than 160 Gbit ? Tell me someone or something that has that capacity and i will consider your initial "fantasies" and "exaggerated company propaganda" as possibly true. Nobody is attacking anyone and please don't take things personal, my intention is only to help. It would be foolish of me to argue with the head mod. Simple questions - i would like to get an official answer. 1. If no company or hacker is doing this then who is doing it ? 2. Who is benefiting from this Denial of service attack ? Now i stop. Thank you. Post edited by Vorpal - Monday, 2013-07-08, 11:47 PM

Please also keep in mind the forum regulations - we do not tolerate cussing. I'm not ranting, I'm telling you things how it is and the things you do not want to hear from a fellow consumer/paying member/user. Not only can't we contact any of our members on my websites, but we can't update the website either. You need a DDoS protection program, let's see how many weeks this one last. Enough said. Quote (GamesGuideMod) Elexy, That is not possible cuz the DDoS attacks the center data and the data of our site is blocked from the internet they cant reach it yet to copy it to a new server I don't know how long you been here with Ucoz, but I remember very clearly. They just switched my websites to a new server and boom, everything was fine again. I'm not stating what I am stating to make Ucoz look bad, no, I'm saying things how it is and how it went because I don't know anything about hosting, servers and all that stuff. I'm stating what I was told back then, and remember that I went 4 times through this, this being the 4th. On every single attack they had, a new server change was the solution.
