DavidJr, your site is unavailable due to the widespread outage. I have no confirmed ETA as of this moment as to when access to sites will be restored.

Well I for one am sure I didn't pay service packages to not be able to connect to my sites one week... We are about to enter 2 weeks with this issue now.

Server Update [12:29 UST - 8/07/2013]
We are actively experiencing a mass server outage on servers s46-s50, s52-s65, s67-s81, and s83 due to a DDoS attack in one of our central datacenters. Technicians are actively working to resolve connection issues however the DDoS attack is still in action and the servers are inaccessible from many segments of the network. There is no ETA as to when the service will be restored due to the nature of the outage - the servers will start working normally as soon as the DDoS attack has stopped. Further news and updates will be released as information is received. Jack of all trades in development, design, strategy.

sksr, please see the first post of this thread.
Some more info about the problem (02:00 PM GMT 08/07/2013):
Since the early Saturday morning (GMT), July 6, one of uCoz websites has been subjected to a massive DDoS attack (more than 160 Gbit). To understand how huge the attack is, compare it to the world record of 300 Gbit. Such huge attacks are extremely rare, usually a DDoS attack is 2-3 Gbit. As a result we were forced to limit access to our network from a number of countries, for the servers to be accessible to the majority of our users and the visitors of their websites. At the moment the following servers are inaccessible from some segments of the network: s46, s47, s48, s49, s50, s52, s53, s54, s55, s56, s57, s58, s59, s60, s61, s62, s63, s64, s65, s67, s68, s69, s70, s71, s72, s73, s74, s75, s76 s77, s78, s79, s80, s81, s83. Our specialists and partners are doing all possible to get the servers back to their normal functioning mode. Please be patient. We want the problem to be solved asap as much as you do. you don't want me to complain... can u consider if my website is a business website and it got lost for days??? can you know how could this affects business or individuals? In my company for example or in any respectable company when a client make a complain no one from the support can say what you say, but instead we try to fix it and say sorry, but it is not acceptable for a customer complaining to tell him "your complains will not make the process quick"!!!!!
I don't know what to say again, iam using UCOZ for about 3 years and nothing like that happened actually but when happens i couldn't imagine that i will get this reply. Thanks |
