General Information It is possible to attach a custom domain to your uCoz website, e.g. mysite.com, mysite.net etc., for FREE.

Answer: No, once you have chosen a domain name you cannot change it, you can only create a new website. Question: How do i setup my uCoz web page in my own domain? I did try but failed. I can see this error message: The domain djcaner.biz has been parked but not yet attached to the account. Domain has incorrect set of name servers: ns1.hostavrupa.net, ns2.hostavrupa.net The following list of the name servers must be applied: ns1.ucoz.net, ns2.ucoz.net Answer: The system gives you the answer: You must change the name servers in the domain control panel (your account on the website where you registered the domain). 1. How to Attach a Domain by Method 3: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/54-18150-1 What's the difference between Method 2 and Method 3? When you use Method 2, your new domain is hosted at uCoz servers. If you use Method 3 - you just change the domain name (to be more precise you just get one more name for your site because it will be accessible by both names - the new one and the old one) but your domain remains hosted at another registrar's servers. So the difference is in the place where your new domain is hosted - either at uCoz or not. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.

-VishaL-, we are aware of this problem and we try to resolve it with Spamhouse. Unfortunately, some of uCoz servers were put to blacklist by spamhouse and it is not possible to attach domains to the websites on those servers now. We try our best to resolve the problem

i have an .info domain from godaddy , changed nameservers to ns1.ucoz.net and ns2.ucoz.net, attached domain to my website, now it say i can acces my website through my .info domain ! Still if i try to enter my website, an 404 error from my last web host appears ! What did i do wrong ?
Note: i changed nameservers like 20 hours ago, do i need to wait up to 72h for dns to propagate ? my ucoz site: clicknearn.ucoz.net my domain: earnbyclick.info Look what i see when i go to www.earnbyclick.info (in chrome or explorer) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/52/sitetj.jpg/ This is my former web host which account i had closed already ! kontroll, I am able to access your website under both names. I have checked it in various browsers and this is what I see:
By all appearances the problem is at your end. Make sure that cookies are accepted by the browser, clear the cookies history; check whether JavaScript is enabled in your browser; clear the cache (temporary files) of the browser Attachments:

Only one domain name can be attached. The site is also accessible by its primary name balkanritam.ucoz.net.

Change of the domain name means that search engines will have to reindex your site from the very beginning and all links with the previous domain name won't work. I'm sorry if off-Topic. I want to ask when I renew my domain, again i must to do the procedure transferring of a domain that is described by Sunny? Because he expired a 26.07.2011 and I made a payment of 23.07.2011 for renew. I guess there will be a problem with the domain registrar. The domain is stoyanovi.be Thanks! www.Tarikat.biz

1st:If I register site to directors, i make some link exchange,i post on blogs,i post on facebook(etc, you got the ideea) with www.example.do.am and i want to change the domain to my one (e.g. www.example.com) when someone acces www.example.do.am it will redirect to my own domain(www.example.com)? Will be my site still registred on directors and link exchange ? 2nd: which of this steps should i follow to change my site to my own domain ? Quote METHOD 2.
