repositng this here
Ok soo ill try to lay this out as simply as i cna bare with me ( i do suffer from dislexic disgraphia so please pardon my spelling and puntuation) So my friends and i have a ucoz site for a game and im one of the admins for the site one of our admins has had off and on trouble accessing the site using At&t internet before but it cleared up and we though nothing of it since i use at&t as well we figured it was something on his end now suddenly as of 2-3 days ago i can no longer access the site and niether can he i spoke with ucoz support and ran a trace and they showed it was on my end ive tried form multiple computers i also have cell phone service through att and cant access the site from that either however if i goto work and connect to there wifi i CAN access it so its not my pc's or phone its definately something else ive spent hours of the phone with att and they swear that they dont block any sites and i can access any other ucoz site we have cleared all ip bans from the site i can also access the site using a tunnel site like vtunnel not sure what other info would be important but thats all i got for now ----------------- Update on this people from all over cant access the site from at&t yet att insists there not blocking it on there end nor would thye have any reason to so it has to be some kinda setting issue on our site any att scource of internet seems to be having issues accessing the site from multiple states , from att phones to atta uverese to att internet , cant access the site Chf.ucoz.com Added (2011-07-11, 8:05 PM) --------------------------------------------- anyone ? we have been discussing it among ourselves and the only conclusion we can come to is that it must be some kinda site setting as it makes 0 sense that att would block a single gamer forum from ALL there internet and data services not to mention the fact that ive spent hours on the phone with people from numerous departments at att and they all insist that they do NOT block sites MORE TROUBLE!!!! before i was cut off completely from my forums i had a few days of the forums going SUPER slow for me now thats starting to happen here Post edited by lspiderl - Tuesday, 2011-07-12, 4:13 AM

lspiderl, please pay attention! This is the second time I am telling you this. Provide a website name and the tracing results when connecting to your website directly, without at&t . In this way only we will be able to check the problem.
Have you tried to contact your Internet provider as I suggested? |
im sorry man but your apparently not reading
one i cant provide a trace w/o att because thats who i use and i dont have another secondly i gave a full trace to the person i spoke with on ucoz support additionaly i clearly said that i spent hours speaking to att about it and my website is listed in my post Chf.ucoz.com and in case you didnt understand att IS my internet service and everyone i know in multiple states using att as there internet service cannot connect to the site we can connect to ucoz but not chf.ucoz |
lspiderl, I need you to connect to another website of yours - roh2.ucoz.com. Login to this website and do the tracing of this website.
Do the tracing of Chf.ucoz.com again and sent us the results. See the instructions here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/30-2310-1 Quote (lspiderl) i cant provide a trace w/o att because thats who i use and i dont have another I am not sure I understand this part. Please rephrase. I also need you to ping both of your websites and send us the results. To do it click windows+R simultaneously->type in cmd->Ok->then type in ping->click Space and paste the name of your website (first roh2.ucoz.com then Chf.ucoz.com). provide us the results. |
i can't access my site... but other pple can, it's not casued by my computer so that leaves my ISP

Drag, the results of the tracing proves that the problem is not at our end. For testing purposes try to work from another copy of operating system, another computer and, if possible, using another network provider.

hi I built a website for my friend and he called today saying that he has not been able to get in in 3 days so i told him i would look at it I can get into the webtop but it wont let me in to the cp and it wont let me go to the website I have tried both domains and it timeouts I tried the host tracker and it says it is 60 Ok 1 Fail it is not coming up for anyone can you check to see what the problem is the sites are skullworkstx.com and skullworkstx.ucoz.com Thanks

Skullworks, I have checked your website and I was able to access it under both domain names. There are no problems with our servers. If you were able to access it via your laptop, it means that the problem has to be at your end.
For testing purposes try to work from another copy of operating system, another computer and, if possible, using another network provider. If you do not have such possibility, then it is desirable to do the following actions step by step: 1. Disable your firewall, antivirus while running diagnostics; 2. Disable the traffic saving services (e.g., Traffic Compressor); 3. Disable the torrent client or any other services that can create a lot of connections, if any; 4. Try to use another browser or update the current one. 5.
